The history behind the genocide.
Israeli apartheid has been prominent in Palestine since the Nakba (catastrophe in Arabic) in 1948.
Palestine is now split between the besieged Gaza Strip, (a strip of land completely surrounded by a 7 meter wall armed with sensors, remote-control machine guns and barbed wire) and the West Bank (an area which continuously shrinks due to illegal Israeli settlements).
Today, Palestinians in both areas are continuously denied their rights - those in the Gaza strip constantly have their water and electricity cut off by Israel, while those in the West Bank get randomly evicted from their homes. Bombs and airstrikes against residents of the Gaza Strip are all too familiar, while gun violence is prominent daily against residents of the West Bank.

For the past 23 years, over 17,000 Palestinian men, women, children and elders have been brutally killed by Israeli forces, both in Gaza and the West Bank.
Since the 7th of October 2023, Israel has massacred over 7,000 Palestinians under the excuse of “self-defense” through carpet bombing every part of Gaza.
With every life lost, we lose a child’s laughter, a mother’s embrace, a father’s joke, a grandmother’s cooking, a grandfather’s backgammon game. We are not numbers.
